Medicomp Inc.

Since 1981, Medicomp has been involved in the development, manufacturing, and provision of reliable and sophisticated ambulatory heart-monitoring systems. The company takes great pride in advancing new technology, improving existing technologies, and expanding the applications for ambulatory cardiac monitoring.

Distinct Competitive Advantage in Holter Monitoring

Medicomp stands out in the industry by having a physician as its CEO. This clinical perspective in cardiology gives Medicomp a unique edge over its competitors. In addition to their clinical strength, Medicomp also possesses a competitive advantage in device technology. Unlike many others who choose to outsource overseas, Medicomp differentiates itself by developing and producing all of its products in-house. As a result, Medicomp is widely recognized as the most advanced technology provider in the industry.

Holter Device Technology

Medicomp has developed a proprietary algorithm called ‘Diogenes’ for detecting asymptomatic arrhythmias. According to Medicomp, ‘Diogenes’ is the only available algorithm that offers beat-to-beat analysis of the P wave, as well as Rate, Rhythm, and QRS morphology. This algorithm is not only embedded in Medicomp’s Holter Monitoring technology but also utilized in their Cardiac Event Monitors and Mobile Cardiac Telemetry devices.

Seamless Integration and Comprehensive Solutions

Medicomp provides a comprehensive suite of ambulatory monitoring solutions that seamlessly integrate with electronic medical records systems (EMR). For more information, please visit the Medicomp Decipher Holter Monitor webpage.

Accreditations

Medicomp is an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) accredited by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).

Legal and Safety Notice

Medicomp has established a solid reputation for its manufacturing and regulatory processes. To date, there have been no public notices of any legal disputes involving Medicomp’s technology. In fact, Medicomp may be the only Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) company to have remained litigation-free with major service providers such as LifeWatch and CardioNet.
